On my way to work driving south along SH1 towards Wellington, traffic moving along nicely and then on the other side of the road a cattle transporter, double decker one,going North, nothing unusual I hear you say, until I looked a little closer and there on the top, so roof, was the front half of a cow. His whole front half from nose to shoulders had popped out and swaying around in the turbulence. Lucky it was South side of Paraparaumu when I called the police and I hope, as I saw no massacre on the way home, they managed to stop him before the Waikanae bridge which is fairly low or he turned off before then. Poor cow but apparently I wasn't the only one that called

Lets hope the cops caught up with that truck, if it wasn't mooooooooving too fast!!
