That poor workman, he'll never live it down. That's the bad news. The good news is that there's a job going in telecoms, wonder if I've got time to retrain before the EOI selection on Thursday?

Oh no, the selection - it's already been put back one day because of website problems! If website problems throws them out for a day what will a cut cable do?

I bet its the same BastXrd rat who chewed through the traffic light system wires at Staples Corner last year causing traffic chaos throughout North London for several weeks. At the moment there is traffic chaos in London because the high temperatures have meant that traffic lights have had to be put on 'local control' (whatever the Fxck that means). When we had snow the whole transport infrastructure fell apart (I left Elephant and Castle at 3pm and got home at 3am!!!!!).

Not so long ago we had a massive power failure causing the tube system and traffic control systems to fail utterly. Rush hour chaos and gridlock due to....due to.... due to.... well it was er......it was caused by er....... It still hasn't been satisfactorily explained!!!

We have water supply problems because we get 'the wrong kind of rain'. We are likely to get flooding because we no longer use cartesian water supplies so the water table is rising yet still they enforce hosepipe bans.

Parts of London smell so bad that people have difficulty doing their shopping in a new shopping complex without gagging due to an equipment failure at a nearby sewage treament works (18 months ago and still not fixed).

A new initiative to reduce the rat population, which is on the increase due to littering, has been set into motion by building 'shelter like structures' for teenage gangs to 'hang out' in and passing the cost onto local shopkeepers (because they supply the teenagers with products which may produce litter).

An old lady (over 70) is to be jailed for not paying the full amount of council tax (she has paid all but £65 and says that she has paid an increase just in line with her pension increase but cannot pay more than the 1.9% that she has received from her pension) Meanwhile muggers, rapists, child molesters, drug pedlars and murderers continue to claim victim status and compensation.

What an odd and insane world we live in

Get me outa here.........

LOL SHeps you're funny Also don't forget NZ is mostly a 2-lane motorway too - shocked me to hell when Igot here to see a dual-carriageway as the main motorway. Now it seems completely normal

Yep well they are definately small compared to what you guys are used to but believe me they are still motorways to us ignorant Kiwis who dont know any difference.

Can you imagine the shock & horror I faced when I first hit the 6 & 8 lane freeways & Interstates here in the US....this little kiwi was scared s*^*less but has finally got used to them now
