the Sudafed here also doesn't have that ingredient in it so not really worth buying.
I'm not sure if I like the fact that most tradies here do not want any monies up front. I suppose its good if you don't have it at the time, but I have tried a few times to pay some but they always refuse. Mind you we have ordered a spa and I keep popping in and paying a little off it, so the large lump sum at the end shouldn't be such a shock

De-scaler is in Pak n'Save. With the cleaning stuff, where you would expect it to be.
Pamol / Calpol. Same thing, different name. As you might expect in a different country.

I got some hilarious looks when I described a sporting situations as being 'squeaky bum time' had to get Facebook back up that it is a real phrase.
Also 'I'm going to do the pots' is not something people here understand hehe.

My boss gave me a document to read and I told her I would "take a butcher's". Of course she had no idea what I meant nor did any other Kiwi in the office.

Saying that I went home last November to a cold UK winter and found my parents had upgraded the insulation and central heating at their house. I was so hot I was sleeping with the window open in below zero. So maybe you get used to it. What annoys me is when rentals are let with NO form of heating, seems wrong.

I'm not sure if rhyming slang is actually a thing, met lots of cockneys but none that used rhyming slang.
