Question Things to do after arrival?

Hi Guys,

i have two things in mind that i have to do on my first day in Auckland:
1- go to the bank, activate my account and get my debit card.
2- get a sim card from Vodafone.

did i forget something? is there any government office i should register in after arrival?
i have a Silver Fern visa.

Thanks

Dream on ...

I thought I'd organised everything when we emigrated. Only to fall at pretty much the first hurdle on arrival - I'd forgotten to book a hire car ...

Get a 2 degrees sim rather than a vodafone one - it's half the price.

I almost bought a Vodafone one as it's what I had in the UK, but went next door to 2 degrees, just to see...glad I did
