There's a world cup this year??
Hmmm I reckon I'm in line for some slating with this... but... I'm big and brave enough to ask the question anyway...
Now that I'm in NZ... how can I watch each England match in the World Cup... am I going to have to bite the bullet and subscribe to Sky, or is there an easier/cheaper way.... or am I resigned to not being able to watch them?

If you're in a reasonable sized city you could head to a casino. Most are open 24 hours so they'll be open for all games. Just stay away from the pokies.....

TVNZ are showing 11 matches; of course the Kiwi matches; quarters, semis and final.
TV Schedule is here:
http://tvnz.co.nz/2010-fifa-world-cu...finals-3473327
Seems if you have Freeview that TVNZ7 will air some of the Group games, they have LIVE England V USA on Sunday 13th June at 6am

I think Sky will be showing EVERY game of the tournement.
They put on about 6 dedicated channels to cover it, just as they did for the olypics.
The good thing is you can sky+ it and watch it when you get up.

I'd still though like to follow England's progress as much as I can via either my own TV or computer equipment... it's looking like Sky is probably my best bet but no doubt they'll want to sign me up for at least 12 months and we actually watch hardly any TV anymore so it seems more than a little excessive.

Thanks guys... the option of watching the game in a pub isn't really an option for me... there's myself and my wife here in NZ with our two kids (5 yrs and 2 yrs) and with the wife working full time, me being a stay-at-home Dad in the daytime and working in the evening, there's no real opportunity for me to get such time to myself... I'm not complaining mind... one of the main things I wanted to get from moving to NZ was far more time with my two boys than I enjoyed in the UK and I've got bags of time with them now and it's wonderful.
