Is there a time limit?
Thanks for all your help out there. Another silly question - is there a time limit on when you get accepted for residence to when you have to go over to New Zealand? Just thinking about selling or renting and how long we would to have to get ourselves organised. If renting your property out in England how much money do you think we need to take over to New Zealand as a bare minimum? Keep in mind we would have to propbably beg or borrow for any monies that we take. All our money is tied up in the house!

When you get your letter confirming that PR has been granted you have ypto 6months in which to get your blue stamp applied to your passports. From the date the Visa is put in your passport you then have 12months within which you must validate the visa - ie, travel to NZ.
So at most you could span it out 18months. Theother option is get your visa then validate it by going on a short visit to NZ until you can actually leave for good.
