Be thankful you're not in the US Midwest...
Right now in the far-west Chicago suburbs, we're not just having a winter storm... it's raining ICE. It's awful. I hate to think of the number of road accidents there are going to be tomorrow! This - apart from our record-breaking measurable snowfall on October 12th (earliest ever) - is our first winter storm this year. Yikes! I'm looking forward to much balmier weather than this when we're in NZ in April.

It's currently -3C (feels like -9C) or 27F (feels like 15F).

Been gorgeous weather here today at last.... not too hot, just right... there wasnt a cloud in the sky this afternoon. Fantastic!
