Default Temporary Work Visa - Essential Skills Visa

When you are applying for your Essential Skills (temporary work visa), do you need to have the qualification that is listed under your job on the ANZSCO?

I have a level 3 qualification, but the ANZSCO states that the skill level consumerate to my job is level 4. Does that mean that my application will be refused?

Yes, you have to match the criteria as set out on the skills list. I believe even higher levels will not be accepted
