Smile Temporary Accomodation

Hello there!

Does anyone know of any reasonable temporary accommodation around Auckland City or North Shore City? Any information would be great.

Thanks.

Julie

Hi Julie

Not sure what your situation is but....... we have booked a holiday cottage for our first months stay on Kapiti coast, fully furnished and not too bad price wise. We will use this time to look for a more permanent rental & hopefully our container will arrive not long after.

Booked through
http://www.bookabach.co.nz/

Otherwise have a look here for rentals
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-me-property/index.htm

Or
http://www.realestate.co.nz/

Good luck with your search

Hi, try www.holidayhouses.co.nz, they have a wide variety, nothing is going to be really cheap in auckland, but as it's winter and quiet you might get some good rates and also the longer you stay in one place the better deal. good luck. sue

Hi Julie,

If there are only 2 of you coming over then you could try this place:
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-me-pr...-285287813.htm

It is a 1 bedroom place in Campbell's Bay - we stayed here for 3 months when we first arrived in NZ and it is wonderful! We didn't want to move out!

Hi, no but use to work for NHS/med records. OH's an electrician and had to be in Auckland for him to do a 2 week course, so he can obtain his registration licence , but aren't Carol & Peter really nice people.

Ah ok :-) , they're unbelievable aren't they.. made us sooo welcome to NZ when we had just landed and gave us so much advice and assistance without being in your face in the slightest... they even gave the kids a TV they had lying around... we've still got it with the Wii plugged into it

I reckon we ought to get a kickback after this advertisement $$$

(The reason I asked if you were a nurse was that we recommended lillington to the agency that got Liz her job here so was curious if you were brought over by the same agency)
