I think on merit NZ as they have played much better through out. they only missed the final by a shoot out but GB lost their match

I'm glad I found this site.

I'm Team GB all the way, but then the match it's self is only taking place 8 miles down the road ...


On another sporting note, how common is it for ex-pat's to 'become' NZ fans?

I don't think I'll ever be able to brand myself a fan of a NZ national team, once I'm over there.


I can understand, however, someone who perhaps wasn't in to Rugby previously to moving to New Zealand being an AB's fan for example.



I dare say in the years to come, there'll be some good banter in our family, me and the eldest born, born in the UK. The wife and any subsequent kids born in NZ ... could get competitive ...
