Tea
In UK for we drank Yorkshire tea - in NZ we have tried:
Dilmahs - reasonable strength but a whiff of Ceylon/perfume in there.
P&G - weak for our taste
Bells - about to try, but remember it as builders strength.
Is there anything else out there?

Re: Tea
I flirted with Dilmah Extra Strong for a couple of years but I only buy Yorkshire tea now. Life is too short to be without a decent cuppa !
Did try DES again but after me Yorkshire tea it tasted weak and insipid . Kotare, don't even bother trying Bell's tea, it's the worst of a bad bunch. Definitely like p!ss water.
Some things in life are just worth paying for, make savings elsewhere

Re: Tea
If I was going to go that route I would get Yorkshire tea from UK Amazon - even with a silly delivery price it is under half the Countdown price.

Re: Tea
Working in the AvtoVAZ car plant in Togliatti on the Volga as an adviser in Lada car clutch manufacture under UK licence agreements, carving off big chunks of black strong caravan tea sweetened with large dollops of jam...strong, black and smokey.....real tea that would go down well in Ireland...
Came home and could never get used to the week tea of Britain so switched to coffee and never went back...still enjoyed the leave green tea of PRC though, but only on the second pouring.

Re: Tea
Look for T2 - amazing varieties of tea.
We carried a large bag of French Earl Grey from Australia to NZ then back to the UK. Nearly finished it now.
