Thanks for drawing my attention to the F1 exhibition. Our 10 year old is racing his go-kart in Welly in 2 weeks so this would tie in brilliantly for he and hubby to go to. They'll probably stow away in the exhibition!

Hi Rob,
We were visiting Wellington over the weekend so probably were rubbing shoulders with you at Te Papa. Were you secretly performing in the Rubiks Cube comps?

Went along to that last Thursday, good little exhibition. I was surprised by how popular it was usually you go along to these things and there are 3 other people there .
I hadn't been into central Wellington recently and was surprised by the flashy newness of the Meridian building, clearly we must be paying too much for electricity (though I shouldn't complain I'm not actually a direct customer ). I feel they should swap with the stock exchange who appear to be operating out of an abandoned warehouse now .
There is nothing like a trip to a bigger city to make you appreciate the simple pleasures of a more rural existence, people saying "hullo" when you go to buy a newspaper and folk smiling.
