Moari designs should be just that , i know Brits who have them and are frowned upon be Moari as Moari people have to go through their Whakapapa or ancestory rights and gather their history , its more of a right of passage in Moari terms , and not just a piece of art work Seek advice first before applying Maori art work !

Agreed. Mine was designed and applied by a Maori tohunga ta moko and represents my whakapapa. They even said karakia before and after.
It's also important to not that it's completely unique and every part represents something.

Heard a story on UK radio about a bloke who had some chinese writing done i have no idea what it was supposed to say but it translated as "man who owns a wood yard"
