Tap Dancing
Apropos of nothing, I just wanted to share this with somebody.
I have wanted to take up tap dancing again for a good number of years but could never find any adult classes near where I lived plus work used to get in the way. Well last night I finally joined an adults class in Brown's Bay & had the best time. I came away buzzing . I was a bit nervous of not being as petite as I once was & 'things' flying around, however, I needn't have worried. Not a scrap of lycra to be seen & all shapes & sizes giving it their best.
I love the freedom I feel to try new things in NZ.

Re: Tap Dancing
Well done! Along with ballet and ballroom, I learned tap as a kid.
I took it up again in my thirties and, man, it was a great form of exercise, very social, and we even did a charity show. I was one of the youngsters and there were some twice my age.
I carried my tap shoes half way round the world but never managed to get to a class in Singapore. Dug my shoes out of a box before we moved to Oz last year and they had disintegrated.
Symbolic, perhaps
