Re: T42 - Mt Bike Event
Wish I was, bad knees are interrupting my mtn bikng & cycling at the mo.
See you're from N Yorks, some cracking rides in the the Y Dales & Moors, opportunities around Auckland very disappointing in comparison. |
Re: T42 - Mt Bike Event
Yes I agree the biking around here isn't as good as the UK although I'm yet to experience Mt biking in Queenstown or the South Island.
Yes I am doing the T42, hopefully the weather will be good. |

Re: T42 - Mt Bike Event
At the moment I'm biking in the forests around Auckland, Woodhill, Hunua Ranges. I've also been down to the Rotorua forests.
I'm looking at getting down to the Napier Forests sometime in the near future. Whats it like around Taupo can you recommend any routes? Unfortunately i didn't get the chance to bike in Hull. I've only been there to go to the aquarium. |
Re: T42 - Mt Bike Event
If it was 48kms of downhill, I would make the trek.
Haven't biked in the UK but have in NZ but the best is still in BC, Canada. |
Re: T42 - Mt Bike Event
My brother bikes to work every day in Hull. He doesn't work with fish though.
