Sydney Airport Shuttle
Hi - we are off to Sydney in July. What is the easiest / cheapest way of getting from the airport to CBD?

Re: Sydney Airport Shuttle
Can't offer any help at all so as much use as a waterproof tea bag.
Would you like me to move this to that wee island off the coast of New Zealand - the Ozzy forum? |
Re: Sydney Airport Shuttle
Watch the cab drivers had a few from the airport and it seems to vary from 35 to 50 AUD into the center depending on what mood there in

Catch the train from the Airport for $5. Plenty of room for your baggage.

Re: Sydney Airport Shuttle
get the normal buses. I got a bus to bondi junction and bought a one day pass that was valid for buses, trains and the ferry.

Re: Sydney Airport Shuttle
Hello
We too are off to Sydney. As there are 4 of us the best bet seems to be a taxi. I've done the journey myself in a hotel shuttle bus and I think it was about $20, but I did get a great tour of the city (OK... the hotels). On the return to the airport I got the train, about $15 I seem to remember from a couple of years ago. Gill |
Re: Sydney Airport Shuttle
Used the train, it's fine and regular service and gets you into the CBD.

Re: Sydney Airport Shuttle
Sure, but for 2 adults and 2 kids that's $50 Australian, which is pretty much $62 NZ ... for 5 mins!
