Successful teaching registration with GTP?
Hello,
This is my first post. I have been using this site as an unregistered user for just over 9 months now and have found the information invaluable. Thank you to all those users who have unknowingly supported my husband and I in our PR application, which was approved last month!!
I am a primary teacher (just completed my 3rd year) and wondered if anyone has achieved teacher registration with QTS via GTP? I have been liaising with the NZ Teaching Council and have been advised to apply under the Track 2 provisions. I somehow feel this is a non-starter and can't bring myself to consider re-training once we get over there?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Small world - we're in Kings Heath, both of us born and bred. Hoping to get to Christchurch by Jan/Feb, although work looking more likely for hubby around Tauranga.

Well I'm in Papamoa, Tauranga so if you want any info on this area just give me a shout. What does Hubby do, out of interest?

Thanks - I may call upon that in the future. He's a Maintenance Engineer (mechanical bias)
