SUCCESSFUL JOB HUNT - but cutting it SO fine!

We are (nearly) finally sorted.

2 years ago - decided to move to NZ (OH was born here so has passport)
18 months - time it took to sell house - £100,000 drop in price:eek:
Sep 2009 - myself and kids moved out to NZ as PR was about to expire...
Sep - Dec 09 - I'm here in NZ while OH works out his 3 month notice in London, and applies and applies and applies and applies for jobs (constant rejection as he wasn't here etc....)

TODAY (Sat am) he finds out he has got a job in Wellington (where we are living - does help!!!!).

Tomorrow (Sun) he leaves the UK (as planned, snow permitting:fingerscrossed:) and arrives in Wellington on Tuesday.

We are SO happy that at the last possible minute he's got a job, the gamble has paid off and we can hopefully be a family together once again.:thumbsup: (who said emigrating to the other side of the world was easy?)

HAPPY CHRISTMAS:thumbsup::thumbsup:
