STRANGE OR FUNNY NAMES
Did you ever read a book in England and think that the characters had funny or unusual names?
Now that you are living in America does it ever want to make you laugh when someone says his name is Chad , Chuck, Rip, Jim Bob, Troy, Junior, Brett, etc ?

nothing to do with the USA but when my Mrs worked in London there was a Swedish bloke in her office whose actual name was Urban Persson. I always thought that was amusing.

My french teacher at school was called 'Jerry Christmas'. We really used to tear him apart because of his name.

I had a business meeting once with a Scandanavian guy called Bent. Had to meet him in the canteen full of people I didn't know. That was memorable...

Re: STRANGE OR FUNNY NAMES
That was a brave moment. If some stranger came up and asked me if I'm 'Bent', they'd most likely end up with a knuckle slap!
