State of Emergency in Tauranga

I have heard, with some concern that there are widespread flooding problems in BOP. To all our friends there I hope you are all OK.

Friends emailed us the news. Unbelievable!! It would appear according to the local news if we were still there we would of been evacuated. All beachfront homes in Papamoa were asked to move to safer ground due the surge and swell from the ocean.
