Agree with you wholeheartedly but you have to catch the bastards first & as we all know that isnt an easy thing to do.

Still cant believe its happened even though it wasnt all that unexpected. This has sent shockwaves all around the world so maybe with a little unity we can stand together & help stamp out terrorism & rid the world of these evil people.

My heart goes out to all those poor people who have loved ones missing now left wondering if they have been injured or worse.

Just begin to imagine the terror of sending someone off to work in the morning & have this dreadful thing happen. The panic, shock & terror must be unbearable. My prayers go out to all of them.

Ours hearts and thoughts are with anyone that has lost a loved one or been in the middle of this awful tragedy.

It will be hard to stop the heartless people who do these things - but they will find however that they will not win though terror as people's spirit is far too strong.

Thanks for the thoughts. My husband has gone off to work as usual, he even said 'can't let them win can we'? Hmm. Hopefully everything will be calm today. I heard from my husband's stepmother that there were only 2 people on the tube at Waterloo at 8.30 this morning!! She said it was very eerie. I think London is deserted.

Other than the tube being virtually empty, I believe that everything has pretty much returned to normal. Takes more than these a**eholes to faze us Londoners. I lived through the IRA bombings in the 1970s and 80s (ruined many a school trip I can tell you ) and it becomes a way of life. I'm amazed at how calm and stoical everyone becomes at times like these, it's like 'oh shit are those W**kers at it again?' And we calmly do what we're told by the emergency services. Unfortunately the 33 people who died didn't have that choice and my thoughts go out to their families and friends.

In true London fashion life will resume. Queen and REM have cancelled their gigs but I think all other events will run as normal.

*nods* Yes, Londoners and Brits in general will get on with their lives. Imho, the terrorists scored an own goal. What they did yesterday is going to back fire on them. The UK is an island nation and has a lot of spirit and will resist such flagrant evil acts.
