SSSSSSsssssssshhhhhh, don't tell anyone but we're here!
Day two and we're in Welly! Great flight with Air New Zealand, though the US Border Control scared the shit out of me whilst standing in line, this guy with a gun came up to me asking for my passport and to follow him. I could see he didn't have a sense of humour so i didn't try anything as i didn't want my butt streched whilst he looked for anything. Now the fun starts, the motel is great for starters, but i need something more permanent, so we're hitting the rentals this weekend. Also gotta get a mobile and all kind of things before job interviews start next week.
Anyway, still knackered from the journey, but coping and loving it.

Welcome to NZ, we have been here a month now and it surprising how much can be acheived in such a short time. Hopefully your first month will be as great as our has been.

Welcome...another sunnyish day in Welly today...apparently you have just missed Winter and Spring is officially here .
Getting a mobile should be one of the first things on the list (got mine from Dick Smith!). I was amazed how quickly you are forced to make major decisions such as rental, car, school, bank account...best get over the jetlag first though! Good luck

Thanks for all the messages of support, it's much appreciated! Trying to find time to take it all in, need to sit back and relax and enjoy it. It's been one mad rush after another. Just secured a long term rental for ourselves in Ascot Park. Not a big place but it'll certainly do till our container turns up, then we'll need something bigger. Anyway i'll be in contact again soon and start meeting up with some of you as well.
