stick some of those citronella candles around the steps and maybe make a pathway with them back to the door ???

you can get the ones in the wooden post or you can buy the candles in tins

Ha ha ha - talk about first world problems! What were you doing with your feet sticking out of the pool anyway?

No, seriously, I hear that eating marmite stops them biting. I'm sure there are plenty of other 'down home' fixes.

Keep those pesky mozzies away and not have to worry about lighting all those candles.

Anyone got one of those bug zappers for their outdoor area? The ones with the special bulbs that attract the flying insects then frazzles them? I think I'd like one of those, but do they work OK?

I bought a spa pool a few months ago. I usually have lots of mossies around my garden but find they don't come anywhere near people in the spa when its on...no idea why though!

We use an oil burner with citronella oil and you could try a couple of drops of oil of lemon eucalyptus essential oil on your shoulders (or feet!).

Yep, we've had them in the past. They have definitely been effective. I've got a new one on my shopping list.

It's probably the chlorine in the water.
