Soon to be new to New Zealand
 

Hi all,

We're a couple about to move to Auckland (I'm British, twenty something and moving over in a few weeks to start a phd and he's Canadian, thirty something and moving over one his visa comes through and basically because I refused to move back to Canada!).

I was perusing this site mainly to work out where to start flat hunting but figured it might be nice join the community, so - hello!

Hello and a big welcome to the New Zealand section of BE from the Consierges in Spain.

You will find excellent information in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.

BE Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font. Also there are Consierges who can support and guide you.

Hi Mel, just to say Welcome to BE from Malaysia :)

There's a ton of info in the NZ forums and lots of nice and helpful folks, so have a good browse around the forums and maybe put in a few postings. All the best in your new life :thumbup:
