Son moved to Aussie
Well.... he's gone The son moved to Melbourne 2 weeks ago with his partner. They got their accommodation sorted from Gumtree, before they left here. They were quite lucky, a guy wanted someone to move into his apartment for 4 - 6 weeks while he works away. He's left everything, so they just moved in with 2 suitcases. This also means he can get a reference as this is usually required for rentals.
In the first week he had 3 interviews & set up 3 trials, which followed with job offers. He ended up taking the first one which he was interviewed for in St Kilda as that's where they have decided to live. They have settled in really well & love it. His partner can start to look for work now that they know which area they will live in.
It's looking like Melbourne will be our next holiday destination

St. Kilda is an upcoming area. Very nice. Hopefully not too expensive. Melbourne is a good place all in all.
