Some holiday advice if you can
Hello all,
We're in the process of moving to Australia and will hopefully be heading off in September. As we've done much of Asia, we've decided to do New York and Hawaii before 3 weeks in New Zealand and then into Perth.
We'd love to hire a motorhome in September. Good idea or bad? Will it be too cold? Not sure what we'd like to see yet as all as we know is that our flight from Honolulu will come into Auckland.
Any advice you can give will be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Re: Some holiday advice if you can
We were in NZ in June last year when it was wet and cold and we met 2 girls who were doing exactly the same thing in a MINI motor home.
They said it wasn't too bad. They just made sure they had a few drinks before bed time so they slept like logs and never felt it!!!!!!

Motor homes can be expensive and difficult to manoeuvre around the NZ roads. Also, you can get closer to beaches and down hills by car. Then you have the option of a motel, hotel or holiday park which will not be too expensive at that time of year.
