Hiya! Being a 30 something in ChCh I have no idea, but I reckon life is what you make it and there will certainly be plenty going on if you look for it.

Fool! It's not compulsory to eat out for at least one meal a day ... We have friends of early retirement age in Cambridge. They seem to be active and social enough ... gym, golf, boating, lunching, drinking, shopping etc, etc, etc! Guess it depends what you like to do? Hobbies etc?
