So, what's everyone's ancestry?
I'm second generation NZ on my Dad's side. His mum was from belfast, his dad from Liverpool. They met on the boat out. My mum's family go back longer, her ancestor stole a loaf of bread in Essex. He was re-located, served his time, and moved to NZ.

Re: So, what's everyone's ancestry?
My mother was born in Liverpool ans her parents from Wales and Republic of Ireland. My father was born in new zeland but then lived all over the uk and now is settled in Brighton. His father was from the Falklands islands originally Scotland I think. My other nan was from Newcastle. My partner is from china. My sons father was from Crewe but has Irish as Native American Indian ancestors.
I'm I'm in Liverpool would like to settle in malta eventually.

Me: English on Father's side (Lady Godiva is an ancestor of mine).
English/Irish on Mother's side.
OH: Yorkshire (and bloody awkward) on Father's side
Yorkshire on Mother's side
Had the good sense to have OH born in Lancashire

Really sorry if I have offended. It was not my intention.

So were mine! But you have to go back quite a few generations to get to them.
More recently, mine are English back as far as when records began. None of my ancestors ever did anything notable though so records begin in 1801 when the first census was taken.
