Default Snow In London

Just received an email from my Mum in the UK who says it has been the strangest weather for the last couple of days - I wonder if she is having me on - any of you heard these stories from your family. Last week they told me they were wearing short sleeves

Your location says you're in London... can you look outside?

But yep it's true.

In Surrey:
Yesterday we had hail/snow several times. Today we've had hail as I walked the dog at lunch time and snow this afternoon. There's a very cold wind too ... brrrrrr

According to BBC weather, we've got a high of 5 degs at the moment but got wind coming from the north & its gusting so TBH feels more like -5 :curse:

Lots of snow flurries here but not amounting to anything

ooops sorry - you can tell I am not good at this thing - you are quite right I joined up when we were still in the UK but now we are in sunny Australia I forgot to change my location. I shall try to change my profile - if I am clever enough you should all see this change in about three years when I have figured out how to do it!!!!!!

Yesterday and today in Hamilton (NZ) have been like summer in the UK (no -not raining! ). Pleasant enough to be out all day gardening and lounging but not burning. I planted the trees my friend gave me so hopefully they will grow. Hope it is the same tomorrow.....well, the morning at least....it can rain all it likes once I go to work at 3pm

I didnt get out much in the nice weather though... my bubba seemed to have a bit of a tummy upset and was a bit clingy today. Ive missed most of this summer with me being pregnant and then having the baby.... next year should be more fun and we'll get out and about a bit more. I think the temperature this summer has been lovely though.... not too hot.

No worries, and I didn't mean to get on your case about it, so my apologies if I came off like that. If you go to "My Profile" (right under "Discussion Forums") then on the left "Edit Profile", it's in there somewhere.

NG, 31C is too hot. And you're never sorry.
