I went to school in NZ in the 80s and the primary school had a very strict policy, no hat, no play. It stretched further than that (eg expected to wear a hat with protection not just baseball hats, sunscreen etc) but "no hat no play" was a pretty good way to remember to do the who slip slop slap.
I do, however, think cancerbeds...oops sorry, sunbeds, should be banned. Spend some time getting a fake tan is my theory.
I do, however, have a 'teeshirt tan' (thanks for that Maz) and I am not really sure if i could ever avoid that. Even with sunscreen etc.
