Hi,

TV in NZ is SH**, we have Sky it costs us around $77 a month but that is with movies and sports, but it's not the same as UK Sky as in not as many channels...www.skytv.co.nz

Loads of broadband packages we are with Telecom at present but quite a few people don't like them because the connections can be slow but so far so good for us, we pay $30 a month.

It seems that everybody complains about the TV out here but, again, it really depends on what you like watching.

For example, if you like 'The Simpsons' then you will feel like you have died and gone to heaven. It's pretty much impossible to turn on the TV out here and not find at least one station showing them.

And if you like rugby then you can watch it 24 hours a day. Seriously.

There's religious TV and shopping channels if you aren't so keen on the above.

And then there's...........Dai Henwood :curse:

Hi phil01,

just checked out the sky website, not bad if you like rugby(die hard footie fan) looks like I will have to start following the rugby.
Sky TV here costs me 65GBP a month and the broadband 45gbp a month so will be saving money by moving to NZ.

Cheers

Paul

The worst comedian in the world....

And if you don't like rugby now...then you never will...

And NZ Sky/broadband might look cheaper....but when all the hidden extras hit home you'll find it costs the same as the UK but isn't as good.

This is an outdoors country...
