Sky digibox
Hi,
Does anyone know if you can bring a Sky digibox from the UK or will we need to obtain a new one once we get out there?:o |
Re: Sky digibox
I'm sure you will need to get an NZ digibox but your UK TV set should work and be ok with a plug change. This thread may help you.

Been here 14 months and our digibox is still in the garage, obsolete and god only knows where the kids have put the remote :)

Re: Sky digibox
yep, you will need a NZ digibox, the uk one didn't work. Sky are crafty out here. When we subscribed, we got a 2nd hand box and had loads of problems with it, but they eventually gave us a new one. Apparently its just luck of the draw if you get a new or old one. The remotes are crap too!!

If you live in the right area with a UHF aerial you could get terrestrial freeview and watch the Olympics in HD better quality than $ky (I've seen it a a friends' HDTV) and the boxes are $400 from DSE.
And not give Murdoch his $$$s.........:D As far as TVs go <search> is your friend look for PAL-I and PAL-B/G for the threads.....as I can't be bothered, sorry.... |
