Looks like we may have to rethink our timeline. We were purposely dragging our feet to enable the daughter to finish her UK education !

Maybe this has no real benefit now. How is your daughter getting on now ?did she adjust to the new system ?

Hi there, our eldest came to NZ before us and entered Vic uni in Wellington, not a problem with UK gcse's, AS and A2 levels. His results were well recognised by the university. We came in June 2011 to the Kapiti coast with our youngest who had done his GCSE's and AS levels and dropped mid way into year 12. Not a problem again with his UK quals. He is now in year 13 and on track to get his credits for uni entry here.
He has adjusted well into school life here (someone will shoot me down for saying this but) he found year 12 work in NZ much easier than in the UK. Put it this way he got an E in his biology AS and got an E again in his year 12 NCEA exams, after only being in the class for 5 months. Thing is an E stands for excellence here same as an A* in the UK. Now either my kid is a genius or.......
