Anyone else heartily sick of the weather?
Wettest March in history.
I tend to joke that NZ has 6 months of Winter and 6 weeks of Summer. Looks like that has come true, again.
There's one guy I know who ahs had his home flooded 4 times in the last few weeks now - each time it's been a "1 in 20 years" or "1 in 100 years" occurence! Ha. You're joking.
Official. Weather here stinks.

This summer has been a bit of a wash-out admittedly. But still better than a good UK summer

Tell me about it, it's been 'orrible!! The Warehouse is chock full of Arctic fleece blankets and electric heaters once again. The rain has been insane and my washing hasn't dried properly for weeks. I just re-washed another load today for the second time, as it was just festering in damp and getting smelly.
Utterly depressing to think clocks change this weekend.
Roll on November!! I had to laugh at this

See, you're heading into classic kiwi head-in-the-sand territory there.
To most of the world temperature is not the epitome of a weather report.
As Auckland frequently proves - the temperature can be good, but the weather can be foul.
To me weather is about what is physically happening - clouds, rain, wind etc. Temperature is not weather. To kiwis, it seems temperature is the weather?

But I'd expect March to be summer.
It ain't been. It's been horrific. Storm after Storm. Can't say I'm up for this, if that's what we got in store.

There has been the occasional 'fine' day in Auckland as well, in amongst the mostly 'not-fine' weather.
BTW, it was the mention of the temperature that triggered me. Gets me every time.
I can't watch the weather reports on TV these days with their overwhelming focus on what the temperature has been today / will be tomorrow. Find myself fuming "So What, what's the actual WEATHER going to be?!?"
