Shouldn't we all own NZ freshwater rights ?
It isn't going away is it. To my mind no-one owns rights to freshwater to the exclusion of others any more than the air we breathe should belong to one group and not another or for all . We all have the rights to both.

Are you mental? Next you'll be suggesting everyone should be able to breath the air or enjoy a sunset. You are acting like there is some sort of natural right endowed to everyone that permits them the right to access clean, fresh water for their personal use (drinking, washing, growing food etc.)

It seems this is centred around Rotorua
It wouldn't be an issue in Christchurch because as everyone knows, the Chinese have the rights to all water there,
