Red face Shipping insurance - suggestions please

We're already in NZ and are trying to arrange shipping our possessions over from the UK with PSS (part container). I'm trying to find suitable insurance that will cover mechanical and electrical derangement. PSS have standard liability cover at 2.8% of the total value of our belongings. However we wanted to arrange additional insurance for some of our electrical goods to include mechanical/electrical derangement. The shippers said that in order to do this through them we will need to cover all our goods for mechanical/electrical derangement at a cost of 3.5%+IPT of the total value. Seems a bit silly covering a dining table for mechanical/electrical derangement!!!

Has anyone got any suggestions of good insurers to contact for this? Thanks
