shipping costs to NZ from UK
Anyone have any ideas how much it would cost to ship a tea chest sized box to NZ, probably weghs upto 100kg, it would contain no furniture just personal items like books, dvd's, shoes, clothes etc.
ive checked out DHL and was quoted over a grand to ship, must have been looking at the wrong bit, would be cheaper to buy another air ticket and ship it on a plane.
anyone know of any decent companies, maybe ones youve used yourself,
just working on a budget, any suggestions would be great
thanks

Haven't used the one below but might be worth having a look at their website for price ideas.

Have a look at http://www.alliedpickfords.co.uk/small2/ for prices.

As one of the 4 Yorkshiremen in Monty Python says: "You were lucky!"
We paid over 5,000 quid (sic) (or should that be sick?) for them to pack and ship the contents of a large house from Salisbury to Christchurch. They were a disaster and I would never recommend them to anyone (or at least anyone I liked).
