Chudley International - based in the Westcountry but do nationwide. Found them to be very reasonable, very professional - would recommend.

Hi Jason
I went a bit overboard with getting estimates but this might save you some of the hassle.
All quoted for 20' container but varying volumes from 740 to just over 800. A full container is about 1000cubic foot
PSS £3670
PICKFORDS £4200
ANGLO PACIFIC £3950
WHITE AND CO £3500
BRITANNIA £3600
Hope this helps.
We are going with PSS. they gave the most professional service and we just felt comfortable with them even though they weren't the cheapest.

Re: shipping costs
PSS again . Not the cheapest but least the container comes to your door so you get to see it sealed, unless of course you have agreed to share a container.
have you called Lytton Percival?

Do you mean me Mrs F?
if so then no, not yet, its Simon's fault, he has now gone away, after I asked him to just fill in the form from LP about his tools.... needless to say, he has buggered off without doing it.... He has also avoided my emails
He forgets he is home next week..... and needs feeding!
If you didnt mean me, then just get bevs to delete me!

Re: shipping costs
I'm paying £3,100 for shipping approx 600 cubic feet and a car. I was about to go with John Masons for £3,200 but got annoyed when they were going to charge me £45 to drop off boxes for me to self-pack, so I called in at a local moving company to buy some boxes. I hadn't noticed that emblazoned on their huge trucks it stated they did international moves so, we got talking and now I'm using them, a local company just around the corner and paying a little less. They're coming on Tuesday, so hope all goes well!!
