Shipping bigger items

Hi all,
I'm looking to bring a piece of equipment over from the UK. Fully packed it weighs 80kg and at 190cm long x 66 x 64 is probably too big/expensive for air freight.
Anybody know a good UK company that can send it the old fashioned way (by sea)?
Cheers,
Mark.

These guys advertise that they do heavy stuff:

http://www.worldwide-parcelservices.co.uk/heavy-parcels

But I put your numbers into the quote box and it came out at 675 quid - ouch!
Considering that shipping my car cost 1200 quid a few years ago.

Cheers Rob, that is cheaper than my other quote. They have some mixed reviews, has anybody used this firm?

I have used them about 4 times now to ship car parts over. Can't fault them. There's a bit of messing about filling in customs forms and certain docs need to be fixed to the parcel but once it's underway it's with DHL or one of the other big ones and has full online tracking.
NZ customs is always fun but you can't avoid that one.

Also last time there was a problem with pickup - I missed one of the forms when I sent it on to the guy I got goods from. They booked a new date for collection then I found he couldn't be in, so I emailed them and got it re-booked and they came straight back, sorted it out and didn't charge any extra for messing them about.

PSS are running a deal at the moment for 3 tea crate boxes (51 x 40 x 61) for £120 (free bubble wrap and parcel tape - how nice of them :p)

Each box is allowed up to 30kg and only other thing to pay is the MAF inspection charge at around £50

8 weeks delivery, 90kg for £170.00 is not bad at all, best I've found anyway :fingerscrossed:
