Shipping big parcel to NZ

I'm looking at shipping a car exhaust but the problem is the box is 135cm x70x25.
Apparently a standard pallet is 120cm meaning companies either refuse to ship it at all or want 200-600 quid.
It's only worth 250 max!!
Anyone shipped anything like this and have any suggetions.
The only way I can think of is in a shared container with one of the moving companies.

Unless someone has space in their container?:D

Kiwi friend has used www.markchudley.com to ship car parts from UK to NZ (while friend was in NZ)....they will build crates to size for shipping if needed.
