SETTING UP A BUSINESS IN NZ

If youve read threads ADVICE REQUIRED and TRUCKERS REQUIRING SPONSORSHIP IN NZ. You will be aware that we have a PR problem. To quickly summerise, We intended coming out to NZ through job offer (HGV1) for hubby. It is very unlikely that this would lead to PR. I am therefore thinking about starting up a business once we get there. Not something I would undertake lightly. I have had a business in UK which I just sold at xmas so know a bit about highs/lows and complications involved. I have a suitable venture in the pipeline which I have researched fully and it would fit into NZ market.
Basically looking for advice from yourselves in first instance re. setting up business and implication requirements that would allow me to gain PR from it. Any success/horror stories gratefully received.

If you are thinking to set up a business to gain PR then you really need to seek advice from another small site. I have put up the link to this site before and have permission to do this from admin.

The site specifically targets LTBV - the Long Term Business Visa option. This is a specialist subject IMHO.

Please register with this site Jill1420 and seek advice there.Ben and Jamie are both extremely helpful people. You will also post with other people considering this route .
