My name's Gemma and I'm heading to Christchurch at the end of September (as per the above!) and I'm flying via LA this time (as opposed to Singapore) so will be interesting to see how the journey differs.


I'm heading over to NZ on an Essential Skills visa and will be working for the Christchurch entity of the Company I work for in London. It's not a secondment/transfer though.


Interesting to see who else is headed out to Christchurch too - if there is anyone!

Family moved to Christchurch in July 2014 (a return to her native land for my other half). I've been spending my time (and many air-miles) between NZ & UK since then but am joining them permanently from the end of the month once loose ends have been tied up with current employer.
Looking forward to leaving UK late summer behind and moving nicely into a southern hemisphere spring. :cool:

I'm returning home after 11 years in the UK with my better half (British) and two young kids. Can't wait to take my kids to an empty Eden Park for an Auckland game!...
