Self Catering Furnished Accommodation in Wellington - HELP!
Help me please! I need to arrange accommodation for a couple of people coming to Wellington for a month from Mid November to Mid December. I work for a not for profit (ie charideee) and it needs to be professional but budget.
I was thinking a basic one bedroom (but 2 is better) fully furnished apartment in Wellington.
For less than $500 a week....even less if possible. Is it even possible?
I know there are a few people on this site who have stayed in accommodation like this (especially when waiting for families to come over). If you have any recommendations can you please pass them on to me? Either on this thread or a PM?
I'm currently looking at Southern Cross on Abel Smith Street. But it's a little bit more expensive.
It doesn't have to be fancy. I will be visiting it to check it out. I just need to be steered in the right direction!
Oh...does 'furnished' also include plates, knives, forks etc? Or does that just refer to the actual furniture?

Quest apartments is another option (some of them have special rates for stays over 14 days). Also check the long-term rates for cheaper hotel chains as some of them offer cheaper rates for longer stays. These offers are usually only available through the hotels' own websites and will not show up if you use general booking sites. HTH.

Fwiw, I know Quinovic also manage property in the Southern Cross apartments so I will be looking out for those ones as well.
