Question Seeking information from people aged between 24-26

Hello,

I'm in the middle of researching information (started early, but like to be more knowledgeable). I thought I start with this.

I will be turning 24 in 2 weeks. For over a year I've been thinking about moving to NZ. I visited there last year to get a little experience, such as their way of life, and so on. The age of me moving there might be 25 or 26. Anyway, I would like to ask people who moved to NZ at the age of 24, 25 or 26 for a number of reasons I have in mind. Probably for those interested to stay there in the long term. What was the research prior to the move like? What was your experience when you finally moved there.

Any experience, useful tips or advice you share will be appreciated. Thank you!

Do you qualify for a visa for NZ?

Hi there.

Your first steps are to see if you would even be eligible for a visa. From what I have read you are looking to further your education in the UK. In what field please?

To gain a feel of how it has been for those that have emigrated to New Zealand , simply have a browse of this forum. You will find that everyone has a differing experience and therefore view of their move. It matters not the age at all.
It matters the job, lifestyle choices, income , expectations, ability to settle .

So tell us a little more about yourself and how you think NZ might be for you , both with work and lifestyle. That way we will be better placed to offer some guidance and help.

I was 26 when we moved over. Best decision we ever made. Although we put no thought into it when my husband applied for his job, it's was very much a "what reason do we have not to?". We came over with residency so fortunately very secure, but have never thought of anything other than it being long term. I took around 3 months to find a job which felt like forever, but truthfully wasn't that bad. We have fantastic friends here and settled very quickly... this is home now.
