We haven't seen this level of scorch for quite some time - 31c in my lounge.

This week has mostly been humedo. What with cicadas and crickets going crazy, it feels like we're on holiday in Fiji this week, with a hideous run of hot humid days and nights. According to NIWA, today was the third most humid day since records began in 1965. Our windows were misted up on the inside and the fridge misted up on the outside.
