Yesterday we had a cold wind.....nobody claimed it was scorching....today was bloody warm no fleece, no hat, just bloody warm.

Was at least 17 degrees in Auckland today......I had to go out in a long-sleeved top & cardi, trousers & socks. Damn freezing if you ask me .

As I am the only person entering positive posts on the scorching thread.......please shut the thread down until the thin blooded whingers start complaining about the heat instead of the cold or go back to the UK and enjoy their scorching spring weather.....

I love scorchio weather it's just that I have acclimatised after over 5 years here. I can't help it
. I used to laugh at the Kiwis I worked with when they complained that 7 degrees was freezing. I would tell them that freezing was 0 degrees & below. You just wait & see 
I remember when we went to Mauritius one August, temp averaged 26 degrees, we were warm. The locals put their jackets on & told us it was cold

I can be scorchy this late in Autumn when sitting on the outside settee, behind the glass of my back deck , when the sun is shining. Other than that I have a feeling that scorchy may not really be back until late Spring.
Sunshine ,on the other hand.....
