Schools in South Wellington

Hello all you beautiful people. I have 3 children,aged 9,8 and 2,1 wife aged 30 something,and as yet no house to go to in 5 months time when we come out to Wellington to start work in the hospital.
Can anyone recommend a nice/decent/fun/relaxing school for my kids to go to that's within,say,20 mins of the hospital,somewhere lovely in South Welly?
