Salary by region

I know this topic comes up regularly and the lovely folks in the department that count things have given us a salary map:

Wellington benefits from government jobs and local companies (NZX, Xero etc.) while Auckland is where a lot of international companies base their head offices.

There only needs to be one person working there to be able to produce this statistic.

The numbers are quite depressing though.

Yup. Sunshine dollars for us lot in the Nelson Tasman region.
We deserve far far more. We get to share our lives with millions of sand flies.
