Hi There, we are off to the Rugby in Christchurch next weekend and wonder if anyone can tell us if there is plenty of parking at the AMI Stadium Addington?

No there isn't! For the Super 15, they have been allowing fans free travel on buses and free Park and Ride from some of the malls. We sometimes travel by bus - getting there isn't a problem but getting home is not so good. If we go by car, we park around a 10/15 min walk away. Have asked Metro and will let you know when they reply.

Ok, Metro have confirmed that the same will apply for the AB's match. So, it's ANY bus free after 5pm (show ticket to driver) or use the park and ride. See here http://www.metroinfo.co.nz/ for details.

Whey......I just bumped into Ronan O'Gara, Brian O'Driscol and the Irish Rugby lads coming out of the Avonhead Mall where they have just had a cup of coffee.... next to Monteiths Bar where we all met up last Saturday....then they were on the TV
