Ross Kemp on Gangs - NZ
Am I alone in being a little concerned that, out of all the episodes of this series being shown in NZ, the episode on NZ and the Mongrel Mob is the only episode TVNZ has been 'unable to obtain'?
A little bit of state control rearing its ugly head? They do say ignorance is bliss.......

I don't think it would tell anyone much new (unless you were like me..still in the UK and blissfully unaware of the gang issue!!). I have seen it and its what most of us know (who are either here or researched better than me). The gangs are there.
Been here 3 years and I have never, ever had any problem with ought gang related.
On the whole they apparently keep within their own social strata. I am unlikely to meet them and ditto.

We've been out of the country just about 6 months now and my daughter's friends back in Browns Bay are all worried about the gangs there.
It's nothing new though - we have a friend here who is a Kiwi from South Auckland, years ago he and his mates used to go up to Taka to beat the crap out of the NS kids.

Radio live did a bit on this. TV1 clearly do not want to air it.
